In response to the recommendations from Spring 2021 roadside worker safety online survey the Alberta Government has put forth Bill 5, the Traffic Safety Amendment Act. If passed, the bill will introduce changes to the Traffic Safety Act that will increase safety measures to better protect roadside workers and first responders on Alberta Highways.
